UPDATED: APR 3, 2007 Draft... West Palm Beach location... Clear, light yellow ale (the menu claims it’s a blonde ale) with a small, fizzy, white head. I couldn’t pull anything from the nose. Terrific balance of pale and pilsener malts and spicy, earthy hops in the flavor. Light to medium-bodied and fizzy with a crisp, astringent finish. Draft sampler at the brewpub. Poured a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminished slowly with minimal lacing. Light sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture. Light citrus flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - DEC 7, 2006
Got this on draught. Golden pour. Tasted a lot like other ameraican pales. Watery, some corn and wheat. Adequate at best. NachlamSie (3523) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Draught. Pours a decent golden hue, for a pale lager anyway. There’s buttery corn in the nose and some weak paper. The flavor is the same: weak, buttery, corny, papery. Not good, not overly painful. Makes me think of stale bread and water. KUEric (977) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 19, 2006
I had this at the Alexandria location, it was the worst of the bunch, and i didn’t enjoy much of anything I had. A little bit of a wheat aroma and flavor, but nothing else much at all.

Gold body with light head. Malty sweet taste, light hops, maybe sugar cane. Clean aroma, light hops. maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 5, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2009 On tap at Hops in Midlothian, VA on 10/04/2008. Clear yellow body with a small white head. Slightly grassy and grainy aroma. Grainy flavor with faint grassy hops lingering behind. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 5/1/5/3/10 - 2.4
09/05/2006: Clear golden body with a small frothy white head. Light hop aroma. Dry flavor with some mild floral hops. 6/2/6/3/11 - 2.8 EValP (30) - Colorado, USA - AUG 4, 2006
The name prompted me to try this one. However, it lacked in flavor and aroma for me. Light yellow look with little head, this beer was mediocre, they have done better. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 18, 2006
Alexandria, VA - Burnished gold, thin white head. Nose held soft notes of florals, citrus, and buttery white bread. Actually had decent balance with a soft bready, floral, saaz hop combo playing throughout. Light bodied, medium carbonation, crisp, soft bitter finish. Not bad, not great... jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 25, 2006
on tap-pours a white head with gold color. Aroma is grain. Taste is slightly sweet rain, some hops. Crisp, OK carbonation.
