On tap at Hops in Midlothian, VA on 10/04/2008. Clear golden amber body with a small white head. Sweet floral hop aroma with some caramel. Sweet floral hop flavor, fairly light with some faint caramel. Seems like mostly late hop additions. Medium bdoy with moderate carbonation.

Hops Restaurant and Brewery Richmond Va Sampler at the brewery. Light floral grassy hop aroma and slight pale malt note background. Clear orange gold with small white head. Pale malt background with grassy floral American hop flavor. Little bitterness - must have all been late additions. Finish is relatively dry with touch of residual bitterness. Best beer of the day. brownaler (644) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 25, 2003
This beer tastes more like an IPA to me. It has a decent hop flavor, but is stale and uninteresting. UNCCTF (578) - Cary, North Carolina, USA - OCT 25, 2003

This was actually advertised as an IPA at the UNCC Hops. A deep golden color, with a medium white head. Aroma was weak, but dominated by hops. This was a pretty carbonated beer, and it went down easy with some bittering in the back. Passable. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 24, 2003
At Gainesville FLA: The single hop ale has a medium amber hue with some head but again as no lace. The nose hints of mild pine and grapefruit. Also detected some orange, caramel, and leather esters. Creamy and buttery taste with undertones of piney hops and sea salt. Slightly bitter finish. Thin to medium-bodied, creamy and lively mouthfeel. Mildly metallic feel. Okay APA, not aggressive, smooth and quaffable despite the flaws.
