Soft amber pour with a nice head that leaves sudsy lace. The nose is of hops and some tea-like tannic acid. Decently hopped, with some copper and malty tannins. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation.... decent brew. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2009
Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is gold with good carbonation and a small tight white head. Aroma is a hoppy citrus scent. This is a lighter medium body brew that goes down with a crisp feel. Finish a nice malt taste with even hop that give a little citrus and mellow bitterness. Overall it a good little brew. potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 12, 2009
Tasting at CBF. Clear yellow, small white head. Fairly hoppy aroma, notes of grass, sweetness and some green chile. Flavor is subdued; not all that strong. Moderate hopiness, bitter finish.

Draught. Pours clear amber with an average, fizzy white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (cereal, grain, meal), heavy hop (flowers, pine, resin, and citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear, peach, and pineapple. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness. BREWMUSKCLES (2687) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 24, 2008
get yourself down to the hops in altamonte springs and try a really great florida (usa) winter pale ale. the aroma of fresh pine flowers and needles will fortell you’re inevitable appreciation. don’t know how else to correctly express it -i was shocked to shit! - hop character out of my dreams. nice malt backing - that is to say backed off- still a very little sweet. refreshing moderately substantial and so fresh it never backed off its character as i watched it sit in a glass for over 30 minutes. hey sometimes you get the best. warning if you do not have to do not miss it. UPDATED: NOV 14, 2007 West Palm Beach location... Draft... Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention and nice lacework. As I tip my glass for the first time, a big-time, invigorating blast of PNW hops hits my nose. A fairly solid, pale malt backbone mingles well with a generous dose of piney and grapefruity hop bitterness. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Crisp finish with a citric and earthy hop bite. Surprisingly solid APA that I could sit and drink all day!
