Cask (handpump) at the Kings Arms, Norwich on 1 December 2011. Noted at 4.2% but that might have just been an error on my part. Gold in colour with a slight haze. A solid golden ale with a fairly weighty biscuit malt presence to back up the citric hops. Quite dry, if not that zesty, on the palate. Pleasant enough but not one of Hopshackle’s more imposing beers.

Cask - The King’s Arms, Norwich. Poured a clear golden orange with a small, loose & slowly fading white head that deposited a soapy lace. Tangerine & peach aromas. A tangerine sweetness & a subtle biscuit undertone with a pithy lemon & light grapefruit hop bitterness. Soft & smooth, light to medium body. Lingering juicy bitter finish. Good drinkability & in good nick.

Cask (GBBF2011, Wed)
Very pungent fruity hops. Simple body, lots of light grains. Some wooly bitterness build up and leaves a tingly finish. Decent golden ale.
