Cask at Peterborough beer fest. Alround rating: Strong alcohol notes, pale sweet malts, not terrible, but far from great. johndoughty (5449) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2010
Bottle. Orange and clear.Hoppy but not overpoweringly so. Medium body and a lingering hoppiness with no lacing. Not as good as most American IPA’s that I have tried but still quite pleasant. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2009

Beer Festival, 2009. Golden beer with a lightly hopped aroma and a malty and hopped flavour. Overall an average strong ale.
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Amber colour, thin off-white head. Nose is bready, caramel, bit of marzipan. Flavour is sweet malty, peaches, medium bodied, a bit of alcohol. Fairly sweet and fruity finish. DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2011
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. No aroma. No real flavour at all, until right at the back of the tongue, when it’s glassy, sweet, furniture polish, honey and face screwing alcohol. Harsh on finish. I don’t get this at all - what is the point?

Cask, gravity, at Bedford Beer Festival ’08. Copper colour. Sweet straw aroma, rough and barnyardy. Sweet malty taste, intensely pleasing and wonderful. Mid bitter finish. Up there with the best of English beers. planky84 (3261) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2014
Cask at the NWAF, Derby ’14. Amber pour with a white head. Citrus and toffee aroma. Sweet fruit and toffee flavour. Malt laden finish. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 3, 2010
After a long journey from my friend wyzzywyz22 in England. Very nice fruity aroma from cloudy amber pour with a fluffy white head. Nice lacing as it goes down. Flavor is quite different with a sweet caramel start followed by a nice hop bang with an alcohol burn especially as it warms. Finishes very dry. john44 (3101) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2017
Bottle. BB date Mar 2010; Drank Jul 2010 - Golden in colour. Slightly Hazy. Very Fruity; citrus orange & grapefruit, peaches. Bitter Hoppy; grassy hops. Malty; caramel, sweet grainy malts. Alcohol quite noticeable. Bitter fruity hoppy dominates sweet caramel malty throughout. Dry very bitter hoppy finish. Decent.

Cask @ NWAF ’14, Derby. Dark gold. Grassy, sweet shop (barley sugar) aroma. Heavenly sweet taste punctuated by alcohol. Nice sticky palette. This is a tasty beer that’ll knock you out and is well worth the state it’ll put you in.
