Hazy red - brown beer. Good fluffy off white head. Palate is crispy and semi dry. Cinnamon. A little fruit - well buried. Dry finish. One dimensional over spiced beer. Drain pour.
Bottle. Bronze and left no lacing. Ginger beer like spiceness which is quite sharp. Coupled with the presence of hops this makes for a slightly different and pleasnt beer. Pinball (12238) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a clear dark amber with a dense off-white and lacing head. Very spicy aroma - pine and ginger. Medium body, somewhat caramellish and a very ashy, bitter finish that doesn’t seem to derive from hops. Almost astringently bitter, herbal. 130711 Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2011
Bottled. A pale brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, nuts, caramel, and some spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hay, and spices, leading to bitter finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is spiced and mild fruity. Ginger and roasted malt in the flavour. Slight bitter and dry roasted malt finish. wheresthepath (2374) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2010
[Bottle from brewers own stand at the Chilterns Festival of Food, Great Missenden] Chestnut colour with a beige head. Despite being bottled, this actually had the mouthfeel of a good cask-conditioned ale, so well done on that. Good rich, smokey malt, a hint of ginger and earthy bitterness in the dry finish. Excellent stuff. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2009
