Cask gravity at Bedford BF ’09. Beautiful bright copper amber. Sweet honeyed malt aroma and oily, well-rounded malty taste. Sharp bitterness to finish. Another lovely strong beer from Hopshackle. I went straight for this the moment the doors of Bedford’s Corn Exchange opened and I’ll be surprised if it’s not my Best of the Festival. A Mes rate. Gravity at Merton Beer Festival.Fin (10820) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2010
Gorgeous amber gold colour with a good off white head. Fantastic sweet yet resiny hop snout. A great blend of candy floss and fresh cut grass. The flavour follows on well. Really herbal and slightly floral, more candy floss and superbly bitter hops. Cleaner than you would expect. Another bloody enjoyable, well made cracker from Hopshackle.
Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer Festival, 16-07-10 Pours amber with a slim white head there is a touch of haze also. Interesting aroma, its hoppy, spicy and floral with some sweetness wafting on as well. Taste is lovely, wonderful bitter orange flavour but then the fruity sweetness floods through, lovely hoppiness throughout, touch spicy and peppery, bitterness and sweetness well balanced. Marvellous and one of my favourites. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0 BierFiend (248) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2013 Pours cloudy golden brown with an off-white head. Smells of citrus fruits and a some slight sweetness. The front end of the beer tastes of fruits and hops and the back end leaves a bitter taste. Lightly carbonated. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 27, 2010

Cask (handpump) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JZ.
Clear dark orange color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, citrus - orange - plum, citurs juice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft.
Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2010. Poured with a small, loose white head bubbling atop a golden amber body. Bit of cheese on the aroma initially but as this faded it just burst forth with grapefruit, green, resiny hops and subtler, sweet tangerine notes. Quite thick and malty balancing a dryish, resiny, grapefruity hop bitterness. Juicy & succulent, soft, medium body with a biting hop finish. Big & full but rounded with plenty of everything going on. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Amber colour, off-white head. This is an odd IPA. Aroma initially flowery, then citrus and some malts. Flavour is malty, bit of citrus and resin. Brown sugar, sticky caramel, fruits. Hint of ash in the finish. Very pleasant. thepegjett (1260) - Cambridge (via Winnipeg), Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2012

Cask conditioned at Merton Summer Beer Fest ’10. Amber to gold with white head. American style IPA and yes intensely hoppy, in fact incredibly so. The bitterness is on the tongue stripping side, I felt as though my mouth had been dried out with a hair dryer. Having said that the pleasure is in the flavour delivery from the American hops, playing a tune across the taste buds. They say you need saliva to taste, this proves otherwise.
