Cask, Leicester Fest 13. Very dark brown with a bubbly foam. Aromas are roast malts with cocoa husk and low floral pine. Nutty with woody notes and earthy smokiness. Flavours are dry with earthy roast coffee and cocoa nibs. Underlying sweet chocolate with light berry fruitiness. Tasty for itís strength. FatPhil (15963) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 5, 2013
Gravicask (CWAF2013, Fri)
Opaque brown, nice head, in good condition. Dark hoppy aroma. Full body, fairly grainy stuff going on here. Tastes liek a dark full bitter. Well balanaced. Feels in some ways strong, perhaps thatís the wrong word, as itís like a session beer also. A beer that attracts your attention, rather than "strong", perhaps.
