Flight 6/15/14 (Hopvine)-Pours a clear light yellow with a small head. Aroma of grains and hops. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is not bad but not my favorite style. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2014
[Tap] Yellow color with a soapy white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aromas of grainy malts and crisp grassy hops. Flavor is light grains, some corn, thin grassy hops and mineral notes. Mild adjunct flavors in the finish. tmoreau (4451) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 24, 2014 On tap at the brewery bar, and served to a fluted flight glass, displaying a clear, light golden color, with a nice array of rising effervescence, a finger’s width layer of soft white head foam, and clingy, etched-like lacing on the glass. The nose was soft grain, light yeast, and a subtle Pils scent. Light bodied, with moderate carbonation, the taste offered maybe a touch of subtle esters, and low hop bitterness that was lightly earthy, and somewhat dry finishing. Crisp & clean, and a good food beer. A larger,14 oz. serving was ordered on my next visit. Otherwise similar to my first encounter, a more corn-like scent was noticeable in the aroma. No less a sessionable option.
