DialSquare (5123) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Bomber from the brewery. Gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is belgian yeast, floral, musty. Tastes are pale malt, tobacco, perfume, white pepper, crackers, tropical fruit. Lots going on and well constructed, but don’t know that I’d need to try again.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and malt. Taste is yeast, citrus, spice, malt, and grass. Good stuff.

Very hazy golden honey coloured body with a one centimetre thick just off-white head with some perceived sediment, even at the top of the bottle. Aroma of yeast, wheat, coriander seed, curacao, grassy, hay, light hops and a hint of anise - nice and very much smelling like a wit and tripel. Medium-bodied; Strong yeast notes up front with a good malt backbone, perhaps of wheat with a light grassy and herbal note of hops, some minor sweetness of honey and a good earthy alcohol vibe at the end. Aftertaste shows some good bitterness from the hops with a small amount of sweetness, and a pungent array of hops, spice and herbal notes - very good and complex finish. Overall, a nice beer with a blending of several styles - belgian ale, wit, tripel and perhaps a light American Pale Ale note as well. Definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods (Pearl) in Portland, Oregon on 11-April-2013 for US$8.49 sampled at home in Wasington on 16-July-2013.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Made in Oregon. Aroma: moderate citrus aroma with horse blanket overtones. Appearance: very small, fizzy, off-white, initial head that quickly disappeared. No lacing. Hazy, light amber body with tiny body particles. Taste: light-to-moderately sweet and citrusy initial flavor and lightly bitter, finish with average duration. Palate: light body, dry texture and lively-to-fizzy carbonation. Overall: excellent beer. Complex and easy to drink.

Pale and cloudy yellow/gold pour, white head. Belgian yeast, mango, unripe stone fruit, mild hops. Fluffy on the tongue and pretty good stuff.

bhensonb (15630) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, but slight, white head. Aroma is typical Belgian yeast esters - oddly more suggestive of pineapple than banana. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly Belgian yeast/spice, but strongly hoppy. Comes out as earthy and fruity. Quite dry. Peppery aspects show up. Quite an excellent flavor.

I think this is my first "Wow" beer of 2013. Pours a lovely orange color. A big and bold Belgian yeast aroma followed by that typical barnyard funk which then melts into a pale ale. I’m getting spice notes and a subtle bitterness. Just super drinkable. I had to force myself to slow down and enjoy it.
