On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft grain, musk, lemon, a bit of funk, a touch of acidity. Lacto. A dusty orange tone. Medium bodied, soft acid, grain, lacto comes trough right away, acid and grain, clean and easy. Grain and long acid into the finish, tart and tangy.

Pours clear light yellow with a white head. The aroma is crisp and tart with clean wheat, lemons and passion fruit. It has a light crisp body. The taste reminds me of a gose with a salt note. There is also lemon, crisp wheat and light creaminess. Good.

HUB Saur Kraut Berlinerweisse, Pours hazy lemonade color with small white head, very carbonated. Smell is light tart, wheat, bread. Taste is sour citrus and a wheaty lingering finish. Good beer.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 Tap @ Hopworks Bike Bar... Poured cloudy, pastal, muted yellow with a thin, bubbly, white head. Raspberry syrup on the side. Nose had cracker and wheat malts. Acidity not totally evident in the aroma. Flavor wise, the acidity and mild tartness came through up front, with floral, grassy, cracker-biscuity malts towards the finish. Also hints of sweetness and vanilla. Like usual, the raspberry syrup accentuated the tartness and cut the bready, cracker-like malts, adding lots of fruit sweetness. This was impeccable. Not too cracker-like, and not too sour. Spot on.
