Bottle:   Golden, slight dirty haze, large frothy off-white head, sticky lacing, very light
carbonation.   Not much of a hop aroma, moreso a barnish funk of a malt aroma.   Slight earth and soil
matter.   Noticeable hops on the tongue, still light tho.   Less of an organic bite than I would have
thought by the nose, but still noticeable.   Lingering mealy malts, some of that barnish funk.   Body
and mouthfeel are moderate.   A little dry on the backside, powdery, sticks to my tongue and makes me smack
my lips.   Decent Pale Ale, but not as juicy/floral/bitter I would have loved. That and the fact that it
was a little mealy/funky/barnish/soily sorta of detracted.   I’ll stick with their IPA. improvjock (328) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with small white head. Smooth with a hint of hoppy bitterness in the finish, but not overpowering. Just the way I like a good pale ale! Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 4, 2011
At hub with Carla. Pours gold with white foam. Smells sweetly hoppy. Tastes slightly tangy with hints of apricot and a bitter pine flavor. can8ianben (1575) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2011
A rather standard brewpub pale ale. Cudos for the organic label, but put a little more umph in your beer! Travlr (25749) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 22, 2011
Draft at BikeBar. Aroma of grass, taste is similar. Decent body. Nice eample of a proper pale ale.
