Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Eugene Fresh Hops Festival. Poured the color of a penny with a small, white head. Aroma had a light floral hop note, some nuttiness, caramel and a bunch of lactic notes. Flavor was much the same, except with an even more prominent buttery note. Not much to recommend on this one. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Tap @ Corncordia Ale House... Poured orange with an off-white head. Doughy, sweet, creamy malts. A dab of earthy hops to balance all the sweetness from the malts. Unfortunately a bit of a diacetyl bomb. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 7, 2009

Draught. Pouted deep ambergold with thin white head. Malty aroma. Some nuttines, maltiness and anough hop. Clean malt finish. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 13, 2008
Fresh hop on tap at HUB in Portland, OR--Amber-ruby chestnut body with a creamy, spotty whitish head. Faint candy sugar nose with sticky maltiness and Willamette hops. Like Parsec Pale, has nuttiness and creamy, piquant finish. Both beer I found mildly cloying. Clean all the way through, too.

On tap at Belmont Station. Deep amber hue with a smooth off-white head. The idea was a fresh-hop oktoberfest, an interesting idea, I usually think malt focus on oktfests contrasted against the green hop focus of the fresh hops. This pulled it off nicely, toasty biscuit malt flavor up front, soft caramel. Lighter bodied, felt even more so with the wet hops, giving off soft citrus notes. I didn’t find this cloying at all, quite the opposite, I’m not sure if that is the description above or someones rating, but I didn’t get any cloying sweetness.
