Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours red with a nice foamy head that fades normally and leaves some nice lacing. Big caramel malt aroma with a hefty amount of floral hops too. Taste has a nice moderate sweet/bitter balance. Lots of flowers, a hint of citrus, and lots of caramel. Finish has a touch of alcohol heat which grows as the beer warms. Best to drink this cold and very fast. Pretty solid beer and I love the label. lliams (204) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2013
not what i expected. light in colour and body, and gives nothing away of its abv... really fruity, hop-driven red ale. malt is secondary. i love this tho skoisirius (1908) - Earth, Washington, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Had this at some point a while back. Big an malty amber but with tons of hopped up bitter backing, compacting into a great flavor explosion. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - APR 29, 2013
Nice ruby brown pour. Very nice malt base, with a twinge of sweet caramel. Unusually hoppy for a red ale, and has a wee bit of lingering bitterness. Nevertheless, solid and good!

Pours a hazy copper with a reddish tinge and an off white spotty head. Aroma is made up of citrus, floral, caramel, overall a big sweet malt profile mixed with a hint of alcohol. Flavour consists of med-high bitterness which is actually quite smooth which I think is just balanced from the sweet maltiness, prominent caramel profile, citrus and grassy hops. This is a well balanced beer that I would enjoy again.

Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts, grassy hops, caramel and citrus. Taste is sweet pale malts, caramel, grassy hops and a nice smooth bitterness throughout. Excellent imperial red ale. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Draft and bottle, 16 Tons, Eugene. Pours a dark, almost opaque reddish brown. Aroma is sweet and resinous, but not overly sharp. Body is fairly medium, well balanced with malt. Finish is straight grapefruit, really! Good but not mind-blowing. fiulijn (21274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2013

Dark amber color, hazy, with compact head. The aroma is very nice: caramel, hops, oranges, a hint of orange flowers, some sweat from the hop. Lean body, very good caramel flavor, with moderate residual sweetness, and a delicious touch of fudge; also some vanilla oak; perfect bitterness level; the hop provides a lot of soft resins and bitter orange character; long final.
A very good red, pours beautifully and has a great aroma, head is slightly resinous but a strong alcoholic malty body balances well. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 7, 2012
Bottled. Amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, some slight wood, mild herbs, toffee and mild ripe fruityness. Flavour is ripe fruits, wooden notes, mild resiny and grassy notes as well as quite strong alcoholic sweetness.
