COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Galactic Imperial Red boldly goes where no Red has gone before. We gave it all the Centennial and Cascade hops we’ve got to bring the floral and citrus flavor and aroma to Warp 5. With a rich caramel malt structure strong enough to withstand any blackhole and a warming finish that can stave off the cold of space, one sip and you’ll be calling it Number One.

A very good red, pours beautifully and has a great aroma, head is slightly resinous but a strong alcoholic malty body balances well.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber brown with a medium sized white head. Soft citrus and a bit of malt on the nose, toast. Earthy pine and a bit of resinous citrus. Medium bodied, soft and malty, earthy pine and citrus. Toast, a bit of fruit. Long earthy pine into the finish.

Strong caramel backbone for this imperial red. Really citrus and hop forward. Pretty good.

65 cl bottle @ RIP Laru camp
Aroma has nice fruity tones and resin. Also fruit candy. Flavour has fruit candy, tropical fruits, resin and some minerals. A bit too dry but good stuff anyway.

65 cl bottle @ RIP Laru.
Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Aroma is resinous hoppy caramel malty, bitterness, pine. Flavor is malty and resinous hoppy, some caramel sweetness, bitter palate. Not as old overall feel here as I expected. Good.

22 oz bottle. Thanks Timo A!
Slightly cloudy red color with a small light tan head. Some sweetness, some stone fruit, malt and mild berries in the aroma. The flavor is stone fruit, dryness, mild bitterness, hops and age.

Rating #1748- 2015.06.13 - Bottle from @AFICMyles - Pours a copper amber, and exudes hoppiness right from the get go, powerful citrusy, grainy, fruity hops on the nose. Medium heavy carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. ABV disguised by hop character. Extremely balanced, pleasant sweetness, smooth bitterness, crisp clean finish. Beauty!.

Tap at Imazato. Sticky, hoppy resin. Bit sweet but with boozy kick. Bitterness. Some pine and a bit of citrus too. Nice.

Tap at Imazato. Nice citrus nose, cherry, some caramel. Brown-orange-red with lace. Rich malt flavor, caramel, oranges, peaches, some toffee. Nice balance. Good, but doesn’t carry its weight well. Tastes more like 7.5%.

A nice imperial red overall. Pour a nice red with a white head. Smells of strawberry, oats and a hoppiness. Taste is piney and creamy, with lots of strawberry. Had on tap at the brewery.
