On tap, pours clear yellow with a white head. Crisp grains and lager yeast for aroma. Flavors are refreshing, hops a subtle as they should be, I get a lot of fresh doughy grains. I like this as a summer pounder every year. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 25, 2014
Golden colour, mushroomy aroma like Chinese herbal liquor. Light body. Moderate bitterness, okay beer but too much emphasis on the caramels. jjgmd (2146) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Can. Pours a bland golden yellow color. Nose is grainy. Lacks flavor, but for a lager ( which I detest at am alarmingly ) it is drinkable and thirst quenching without the grainy taste. It’s going down well on this hot Sunday Florida afternoon. Still prefers ales, but as a lager very drinkable. Quaff Score 6 / 10 zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Pours a clear golden with a white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is light, of malt, caramel, light hop and straw with a crisp finish. Light and refreshing, solid for the style Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Had on draft at the brewery. Looks great, crystal clear thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma is sweet malts, spicy sass hops. The flavor is sweet pilsner malts, spicy/floral hops, herbal, the sulfur character of the yeast is a bit strong for my palate. A solid pilsner.

On draught at Beer revolution. Pours a clear yellow colour, nice white foam, medium retention. Aroma is pleasant, generously hopped - true to a name like Hopworks. Mouthfeel is bubbly and crisp, medium carbonation. Taste is hint of sweet malt, dries out in the fairly smooth finish with a nice hoppy presence. Delicious. Tap, pours golden with a small white head. Malty, grassy and easy drinking. LesArgen (356) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 19, 2013
I’ve little experience with Pilseners, and this is called a lager, so I’m confused. Nevertheless, it has the head and body of a macro lager, but the similarities end there. The aroma is dusty with some mild citrus and honey. The hops really pop in the mouth and make this memorable, though I do wonder whether our American friends are determined to overwhelm every last style of beer with their extreme hop wave. I also wonder whether I’d mind. DialSquare (4978) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Sparse note: yellow, light lager, grain, good for style. 6.6 Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 25, 2013
A: Beautiful gold color with a light white froth. Bubbles everywhere.
N: peppercorn hops, pine, earth, pilsener malt, corn husk and grass.
T: Light malt sweetness and a pleasant hop bitterness. Some citrus/white grape. Assertive.
M: Light and yet coating. Well carbonated.
O: Quality pils that doesn’t hit the highs of Heater Allen, but which is worth a buy at any point.
