On tap. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Scent is grassy. Taste is grassy, sweet then bitter with a hint of nuts. Davros (3208) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 7, 2013
Pours gold with a lasting head.
Nose shows lemon/dill sorachi-like notes, soft bready malt and banana. Quite nice.
Flavours include more bready notes, soft dill and spicy hops. Enjoyable stuff.
Carbonation could be higher. mjg74 (3116) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Can from LifeSource. Light golden straw in color. Some grains up front, followed by a little bit of a malty backbone. A little bit of a grassy hop finish. A little graininess. A hit of a soapy quality, but otherwise pretty clean. ALLOVATE (3029) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2013
Produces up with what seems like a bad case of chill haze. A shrouded sunny medium gold with a frothy and loose white head of foam. Pineneedles and roughly bruised, bitter green herbs dominate the nose with underlying wafts of lychee, pear and lavender. On the palate it is assertively hopped but balanced by a wonderfully dry pilsner malt graininess and toastiness from that Carahell. Light in body with moderate carbonation that sees it move with haste across the tongue. Big bitter peak, raspy and herbaceous on the swallow leaving a lasting dryness of grain and hop. Long camphorous, nettle and pineneedle linger, quite spicy and raw. Very refreshing stuff. I loved this one. Drinks well even as it warms and showcases the wonderful Saaz hop with artistinal brilliance. A solid Pilsner! Had on draft at the brewery. Looks great, crystal clear thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma is sweet malts, spicy sass hops. The flavor is sweet pilsner malts, spicy/floral hops, herbal, the sulfur character of the yeast is a bit strong for my palate. A solid pilsner.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2008 From the tap this beer pours a beautiful golden color, great clarity, with a tall white head. Crisp hop nose, spicy and floral abundance. This was one of the better pilsners i’ve had in town, crisp on the palate, excellent compliment to most foods. bulldogops (2701) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 4, 2013
On draught at Beer revolution. Pours a clear yellow colour, nice white foam, medium retention. Aroma is pleasant, generously hopped - true to a name like Hopworks. Mouthfeel is bubbly and crisp, medium carbonation. Taste is hint of sweet malt, dries out in the fairly smooth finish with a nice hoppy presence. Delicious. poisoneddwarf (2566) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - OCT 24, 2012
16 oz can. This one reads 5.1% ABV. Pours cloudy yellow (looks like a kellerbier) with a large white soapy head with good retention; leaves some sheeting lacework. Aroma is corny, grainy, floral. Taste starts out lightly sweet before a crushing bitterness sets in. Definitely the most bitter pils I’ve had. There’s also an unwelcome flavor of wet dog in there. Highly carbonated, medium-full body. Crisp and refreshing, but a little flawed. Reid (2556) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JUL 16, 2012
16 oz can bought from "Lifesource" in Salem. $2.99
Typical pale yellow lager body with a nice sized, frothy white head.
Pleasing lagerish aroma..sweet malts and grassy, slightly spicy hop nose.
Taste is very well balanced with nothing dominated..but the sweet toffeeish malts blend well with the grassy hop.
Nice on the palate, quite honeyish actually.
Overall a very well made lager..i hesitate to call it a Bohemian Pilsner however! patricks110 (2502) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 24, 2013
Nice sessionable brew from a great brewery. Sweet and mild grainy malts with some light grassy but citrus hop flavours. great balance and a crisp and clean finish. Good beer!
