22 oz bottle. From the HUB, Portland, OR.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity, grapefruity and citrusy hops, mild bitterness and dryness in the aroma. The aroma points to some thinness but the flavour proves it wrong. The flavour is grapefruit, fruits and resin, moderate bitterness, sweetness and mild maltiness. Balanced.

2013-10-11. Hazy dark pastel orange with a modest off white head 3+ sweetish orange citrus and resiny hops, mild fruit. Flavour is similar, nice fruity citrusy hops, resiny hops and moderate bitterness linger. Smooth average plus body low carbonation. Decent. Hops are starting to fade a touch. Bottle.

22 oz. bottle from kenb. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma had quite a bit of orange and grapefruit, crisp resiny hops and mild caramel malts. The flavor is a nice blend of caramel dipped biscuity malts and the nice grapefruit citrus hops. Other flavors include resiny hops with a hint of herbal spiciness. Medium bodied with a dry bitterness to the finish. This is an enjoyable IPA especially since it is organic which I usually have more issues with.

GCBF 2010, tap. Hazy honey gold. Intense tropical fruit aroma, more pine resin in the flavour, a little stemmy/woody. Very bitter finish. Fantastic!

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Sweet orange on the nose, slightly stuffy grassy notes, herbs and malts. Flavor is also sweet malty and fruity with mostly orange, spice notes and some yeast. A bit stuffy but good.

marcus (10326) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 11, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours golden amber with a decent beige head and a pine aroma. There is a nice caramel malt flavor that is overwhelmed by hop bitterness. Though somewhat unbalanced, it is a very pleasant and tasty brew.

Pint at the brewpub. Pours a clear lighter amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of piney hops, orange citrus, caramel malts, and tea. Flavor of orange and grapefruit citrus, caramel malts, pine resin, tea, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a bitter, resinous mouthfeel. Solid IPA.

Tap at Marciero. Deep blond color. Lots head, slightly cloudy, orange tints. Nose of peach, mango, melon, bread. Interesting nose with lots of stone and tropical fruit but not much citrus notes. Bready, fruity flavor that got nicer and nicer as it opened up and warmed. Original and tastety.
