3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber bottle. Pours a clear reddish pale amber, with a thin white head, slight breenish tinge. Mild aroma of spruce, but not much head to push it. Tastes is a heavy bitterness with some citrus tones, with a medium slightly sweet malt body underneath. Full body, creamy texture, would be helped with livelier carbonation. Finishes with a grassy bitterness. Pretty good...
Can. The colour is slightly hazy dark amber with a big creamy light beige head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, pine, grass and pineapple. The flavour is similar and quite fruity. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A fruity and well-balanced IPA. bdleedahl (631) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 5, 2017
Not my kind of ipa, not bad but not a huge fan of the harsh hops and medium-low body. Hopworks portland

I had an ungodly amount of IPA's while visiting Oregon, but why stop with a couple of pints when they're all so unique and tasty? The flagship IPA from Hopworks has all of the standard West Coast character traits that you would expect. Orange color. Zesty, resinous, pithy, piney, citrusy, and herbal attitudes. Perfectly crisp and hop-forward. Maryannw (36) - California, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Amber. Light carbonation. Big piney hoppy aroma. Rich bold resin and pine flavors, but balanced and crisp. Not too heavy. Long flavorful finish. 75 IBU. 6.6% alcohol. 15 degrees plato

On tap @ Både &. Unclear golden with a nice off-white head. Aroma is dominated by hops, citric fruit, peach and fresh grass, but also some pale malt. Flavor has some pale malt as a basic but the hops dominates here as well. Strong citric, peach, marmalade and some grassy/herbal finish. It’s almost a bit like tasting hop pellets, but in a positive way with a decent malt base. Fine balanced body and long lasting bitter aftertaste. Got this very fresh, but it one of the finest IPA I have had in a long time. Solid, in your face no nonsense IPA. stevoj (5866) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 30, 2017
Bottle from Brewers Haven. Milky orange golden body with small bubbly head. Mildly sweet aroma, some hops , some malts. Taste brings on additional sweetness, some citrus fruitiness. Gentle hops bitterness at the back. Classic IPA, well balanced. Heidbummer (976) - SCOTLAND - FEB 16, 2017
Can from a deli. Big waft of citrus, soap, pine, mushrooms on popping the can. Pours hazy orange, foamy white head. Huge hoppy lemony first mouthful, followed by loads of juice, then a honeyed finish. First beer on a trip to the NW US and it’s a cracker.
