Hazy golden color with creamy head. Mild aroma of malt and hops. It has some toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is quite dry, there are some biscuity traces and a moderate but pleasant hopping. Later, some resins tickle the tongue.
A good beer, but, as for the bottle, with a fresh dryhop more is expected.
2012-12-27, bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver, 6% ABV, 6-4-7-4-14=35
Golden color, the head is rather frothy, medium sized. The aroma is mild, there is some manure, light caramel and toffee. Toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is correctly dry; strong bitterness, not exaggerated, with soft resins and very mild fruity character.
A good beer, but the freshness of the hopping is not so highlighted.
Amber orange pour with white head. Aroma is really weedy with hints of citrus and sweet notes. Medium bodied, oily mouth feel. Flavour is grass, grapefruit and other fruits. Quite bitter, but nicely balanced with oily hops and a long bitter finish. Interesting to taste the cascade hop isolated. YABSSOR (3) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 12, 2012 does not count
650mL brown bottle at The Next Act Pub in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Aside from a thin and over carbonated body, a great pine and citrus punch gives this beer a good rating from me and manages to balance malt and bitterness enough for it to even be sessionable. manuchampions (1244) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 30, 2012
Pours a light copper with thin cap of cream foam. Aroma is citrus hops, some pine. Taste is very fresh with grapefruit dominating followed by a nicely balanced malt back. Finish is lingering bitterness. Really solid and gets the very best out of the cascade hops within. pintbypint (3634) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 17, 2012
650ml brown bottle. 6% abv on the bottle. Dark yellow in colour with a fine haze. Large white head with fine bubbles and very clingy lacing. Nose has sweet orangey hops. Pretty clean malt up front, mild caramel note, mid way some orangey hops. Grapefruity finish that lingers. Mild bitterness. Medium bodied, nice fine carbonation. Pretty nice IPA.

Looks good. Smells good. Tastes good. 4/5. Very hazy orange amber with good froth. Nose is relatively quiet but delicious straight forward juicy orange and grapefruit. Can hardly wait for cans. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 8, 2012
Bottle at work. Pours clear deep orange, thin off-white head, spotty lacing. Nose is grass, grapefruit, tea, lemon, some ginger. Flavours are grassy lemon, some ginger and grapefruit, sherbet lemons, and inappropriate soapy bitterness. Boring. patricks110 (2495) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
A nice Cascade single hop brew with a beautiful amber orange body and a thick fluffy off white head. The nose is sweet, piney, mildly citrus with a big astringent hop. Pungent hops, biscuity malts, light spiced notes and cereal malts. Well balanced with a big pungent hop, well balanced and just a great single hop IPA! Single bottle purchased from Willow Park Wine & Spirits on 10/18/2012 in Calgary, AB. Colour: Medium brown and slightly cloudy. Long lasting greyish-white medium creamy head. Nose: metallic, citrus, curious notes of sap, mom’s shortbread. Taste: light sweet, medium-high bitter, medium-light sour. As stated, extremely dry - and this leads to a very herbal and vegetative palate, with notes of parsley, hibiscus, grapefruit peel. A dry and puckering finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Bottle:   Orangish straw, hazy, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Dank musty hop nose.   Not too bright, floral, or citrusy.   Rather dull on the tongue, a bit hoppy but not biting.   Not fresh, bright, or with any floral or citrus notes.   Just an overall dank/musty/stale hop aspect.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft finish with very mild hoppiness.   This really seems like a stale Pale Ale.   Nothing bright, vibrant, or interesting about this one.   Falls flat right from the start.   Not bad, but soooo boring.
