Gold pour; oranges dominate the aroma, some leafiness as well. Pretty straight forward flavors, nicely putting the cascade hops -- so familar -- out for display. Citrus up front, pith later with some resin long. Easy drinking, nothing spectacular but no glaring flaws and then I guess there is the educational value...
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy golden amber with a slight, transient white head. Aromas of spice and floral with a touch of citrus. And caramel. And light pitted fruit. Med + body. It’s floral, and fairly earthy, with a slight touch of grapefruit rind. Not harshly bitter, but bitter fer sure. Excellent. reebtogi (6246) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 15, 2012
650ml bomber listed at 6%ABV pours a slightly hazy golden color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is loaded with citrus and mild caramel with some earthy notes. Taste is a bold grapefruit and earthy bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with adequate carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. One of the better IPA’s that I have sampled and recommended. Yay! Hops! Poured out a hazy light gold brew with a small yet right off white cap that leaves a real mess. Lemon and light caramel - a 50/50 mix of malts vs hops. Weak Rrgf, leafy and dusty, smells refreshing. Tasty goodness - quite ascertive. Bitter, stiff citrus strength and aftertaste. Unsweetened grapefruit and lemon, light on the caramel - the malts are somewhere giving support - much like a girdle for fat pigs - they hold things together but can’t hide the obvious. Pretty yummy and a total non thinking beer. I have to pee. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
Draught at The Alibi Room, Vancouver, Oct.4. Pours a deep golden-orange with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Nice resiny hop aroma along with biscuity malt. Flavour’s the same, a good amount of resiny hops along with biscuity malt and a dry, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

Biscuity and crackery malts with light citrus and floral cascade hops. Straightforward. Pours hazy golden amber, thin head. Citrus and floral hops showcase up front, dry biscuity malts, more Cascade hops round out the finish. Pleasant showcase of cascade hops. Not awesome but it accomplishes what it sets out to do. mcberko (17345) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 6, 2012
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of biscuity and crackery malts, and dry earthy floral hops. Flavour is very earthy and dry, with wet leaves, mild dry earthy hops, and some biscuity and crackery malts. Mild and restrained. Nothing overly stimulating, but no surprise given the Cascade hops. Still, decent stuff. crackedmachine (481) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Pours mostly clear, lightly hazy orange-amber with a thick, foamy white head. Aroma of pine, light citrus, and grainy cereal. Flavor is bitter and resinous, with a good pine component and light grapefruit, but in the end a bit watery. Thin. A solid IPA, easy drinking, but a few notches below the standard HUB IPA. raphael (1243) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Citrus and resin, almost pickle I smell. Clear amber with frothy white head. Resiny feel and flavor. A little light in the mouth and body. watery finish. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice easy drinking IPA. Good Cascade flavors and aroma in this single hopped brew.
