Clear copper, it’s got a thick head of light beige foam with a fruity juicy overripe mandarin type hop bouquet. Grainy sour mash with overripe fruit hop notes. Interesting enough. Sarlacc83 (2287) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 17, 2016
A: Very cloudy copper. Thin foamy white head.
N: Very doughy. Minerals and some sulfur. Grapefruit and a touch of pine. Earthiness and a touch of wood. Don’t get much fruit out of this.
T: Very bitter - almost astringent. Crackery malt.
M: Medium body, quite resinous, spritzy carbonation, light alcohol.
O: OK. Not sure about this one; seems kind of dead leaf rather than lively hop. Ah well. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 19, 2016
From bottle it’s lightly hazed amber. Strange aroma of fabric and phosphorus (match sticks), faint pine and grapefruit, leaf vegetables. So very hard to discern anything in there really. Medium bodied, semi-sweet with average bitterness for the style, feeling a little silty-yeasty in the mouth, with a lingering stale bread maltiness. douglas88 (9572) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 29, 2016
Bomber. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A light fruity nose. A light perfumy flavor, oranges, some light bitterness. Quite a big soft malty base. Pretty good. vyvvy (6639) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 29, 2016
Pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma has tropical fruit, pale malt and tangerine. It has a medium smooth body with soft carbonation. The taste has nice tropical hops, caramel and dry malt. Good.
