On tap at Crowbar, april 22nd 2016. Hazy golden body with a tiny white head. Mild flowery aroma with spicy hops. Taste is dry and malty, bitter, very weak hop fruitiness, with a short citric finish. I’d expect a bit more hop punch, though it’s not a bad beer. mcberko (20267) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 3, 2016
On tap at Portland Craft, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops upfront, with a crisp crackery malt backing. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh piney hops, some stone fruits, and a biscuity malt backbone. Pretty standard by the books IPA, with pine and fruit on the finish. Very good. fiulijn (21525) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2016
Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (W. Broadway), VancouverHolmen1 (6753) - Stavanger, NORWAY - FEB 2, 2016
Hazy golden color with compact head. The hoppy aroma is nice but mild. Delicate crackery malt flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, the hops are resiny, but less fruity than expected from Simcoe.
Not as fresh as it should taste. But still nice.
Gode greier! Tart ,slight funk and clove dominate the palette. Fresh full bodied flavor. Appearance is a clear slightly hazy gold with a medium bubbly head that retains quite well.
