Poured from a growler a motor oil black. Nose is licorice and roasted malt. Taste is similar with a touch of dates, raisins and vanilla. Lovely mouthfeel that coats the tongue in a pleasant way. Overall a really good imperial stout.

Bottle. Lots of dried fruits, plums, raisins, caramel, light roastiness (somewhere underneath) and chocolate to top it. Full bodied, moderately carnbonated. Good mouthfeel, the beer is smooth, finish is lightly sweet. Good, I prefer more agressive amd roasty, but that was just fine.

Aroma is roasted smoked malts, chocolate, mocha, fig, caramel and toffee. Taste is deep and sweet with tastes matching the aroma. Some nut and a an almost chewy mouth feel. Finishes with slight tartiness. Well balanced overall and very tasty. Appearance is black with a thin brown head that retains quite well.

Black color with a small tan head. Roasted malt, bitterness, salty licorice, alcohol, glue and chocolate in the aroma. The flavor is sweetness, chocolate, mild bitterness, roasted malt and some berries. Not a great Imperial Stout.
