Might be the most interesting beer on the menu. This was made as a fundraiser beer, and I gotta say - well done. Big, bold, full of flavor, and really drinkable. This was the beer of choice for much of our table of friends. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 15, 2011
Nose of candy sugar, dark fruit, caramel, toast, and phenolic belgian yeast. Pours darker brownish, red hues, thin head. The flavor is dark and fruity with phenolic spicy belgian yeast, toasted malts, caramel, and candy sugar, sweet-ish but balanced, dry, and rather drinkable. mcberko (18573) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 13, 2011
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours caramel golden brown with a tiny head. Aroma of candied sugar and caramel. Flavour of caramel malts, considerable hop presence, bready / biscuity malt and candied sugar. Solid.
