Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Sweet malt and spice aroma. Sweet malt and spice flavor with light fruity esters. Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Sweet malt lingers with light spice, light yeast, and light esters. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 24, 2010
Golden amber. The aroma is toasty and slightly metallic. Sweetish, only a little bit floral. Toasty but not interesting. Too clear, not complex. Wouldn’t really call it a saison. troopie (2350) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - MAR 8, 2010
Draught. Poured orange amber, clear with thin fast dissipating head. Aroma is a little spice a little hop. Medium to light body, a little spiciness, a little wheatiness. Rather thin finish, but a nice herbiness. neepsntatties (2003) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 6, 2010
Had this on tap a few weeks ago at Hopworks. Colour... orange-amber with no head. Nose... stone fruits and candi sugar. Palate... crisp, bright and floral with lively bubbles, dried peach, pear and sweet butyl esters with a medium finish. BillKismet (4072) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Clear straw blonde with light covering of head. Lightly spicy nose with mild floral notes. Airy and spring-like complexity. A tad under-bodied for a saison, perhaps fermented on the low-side. Clean, but with mild buzzes of spice and flavor.
