light brown, slight lime nose with toast and woody hop character. Earthy front, sweet, has some mellow haselnuss character, with toasted almonds, bitter chocolate. Sweeter interpretation, leaning towards the old India brown idea. Ferris (16490) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
Draft - Roasted malts, hops and coffee. Dark amber with a thin off white head. Hops and roasted malts with a punch of bitterness. Very dry.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a 3 finger creamy tan head. The aroma is hop. Seems rather resin. Med plus body. Flavor is some sweet charred caramel with pine/citrus/floral/godonlyknows hop. It’s very bitter. Much more charred than other BIPAs. I can imagine a touch of coffee. The nose is great. The taste is great. It has much more oomph than 6.5% would suggest. A really great ale. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2015
On tap at Hopworks Bikebar. Pours a dark ruby brown with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is anise and chocolate. Medium mouth, rich malt, chocolate, light bitteness, good.
