Bottle shared with group of people. Poured a golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some funky citrus notes, tartness present - plenty of acidity. Yeast funk character in flavor, some light tart notes. Fuzzy carbonation. Pretty dry finish. Nice and drinkable.

Pours golden yellow orange with a big white head. Aroma is beautiful, bringing funk and sweet lambic yeast. Flavor is almost as good, bringing dry tart funky yeast notes with some sweet notes balanced very well. It is not overly complex and the carbonation is on the money.

A golden colored beer, with little to no foam. In the nose there is fruit, sour and is fresh. It is a beer with a good carbonation, good CO2. It is a light sour fresh beer, with fruit and some wood in the taste. The aftertaste is not very long, and is light sour and light bitter. A nice soft geuze with moderate bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Geuzefunkig, lite härligt rutten doft. Tunn. Lite varm kanske. Påminner om något franskt vin. Legat på cognacsfat? Känns så. Inleder dagen före blåbärssläppet. Inte bättre än en vanlig cantillon eller 3F. Delar med Hoffback och Egil.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. When cold, it left me wanting a little more punch and depth of sourness. When slightly warmer it had a very satisfying lemon fizz. Good stuff. Olive trousers.

750ml bottle, 2013 vintage, No 13960, somehow purchased at Discount Liquor in Milwaukee Wisconsin. To be fair, theres not a lick of English on the back label, and no mention of who the importer is, no deposit information, etc., so Im not really sure it necessarily passed through all the legal channels. Split with my bride. Pours a cloudy light amber color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is citric, lemon, wheat, earthy, yeasty. Medium on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, funky, oak, grassy, earthy, lemon, with a light, tart finish. A very nice Oude Gueuze.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2014 Pours a cloudy golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is soft barnyard and funk, a touch of grass/hay. Taste is nice and sour, puckering but not too much. It is really dry and asking for one sip after the other. Carbonation is spritzy, champagne-like. Acidity level is bareable, really. Flavors are mostly green apple (the good kind) with a little yellow fruits (pear?). Quite elegant, really nice!
