English: We have brewed on this beer on a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

Bottle from local Vinmonopol. Best before 2022. I might get more bottles to age! Anyway, it pours a quite pitch black brew, with a small "cappucino coloured" head. The aroma is dark and fruity. Some chocolate, coffee and caramel. Big body, low carbonation. Lots of stuff going on in the flavor here! Let’s try to describe it: first, I get licorice, then toasted bread, then coffee, then chocolate, and there’s a general note of (burned) wood all around, with hints of smoke. The 11 % abv is noticable. Some artificial pear flavor in the beginning. Hints of leather. Very well balanced. Everything is nicely integrated. I don’t get much rum/spices. Overall it’s pretty darn delicious!

Bottle, rated from backlog. Liquorice, cocoa, coffee and vanilla flavors in symbiosis. Nice rummy finish

Black with brown head - Roasted malt aroma with some coffee and dark chocolate - roasted malt body with some coffee and dark fruits - lingering roasted malt with some coffee and wood - this was very good

It’s black like hell but gives you a pleasant welcome with aromas of smooth coffee. This full bodied imp stout gives you a mouth filled taste of sweet liquorice, coffee and sweet rhum. Jørgen Fogh Rasmussen you’re a genius.

Bouteille 500 ml. Très bonne IS!

Grifo. On-tap. ½ pt glass. Enjoyed on mar´13. Pure black headed by creamy & lasting crown, beige in color. Roasted malt & black coffee grain aromas, hints of rum & alcohol, woody hints to the nose. Smooth & creamy malt upfront is shacked by pungent heat & intense coffee infusion. Full body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Dense texture. Dry bitter finish & coffee on the aftertaste. Excessive –despite of its name- rum notes.

On tap at Barcelona Beer Festival 2013. Small Pint (20cl). Pours a clear black colour with a generous light brown head, very nice. Both aroma and taste contain: Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, rum and vanilla notes. No significant alcohol presence. The sweetness derived from the rum combines exceedingly well with the rest of the ingredients, so that’s definetely a succesful idea. The oak touch makes this brew awesome. Creamy mouthfeel, good carbonation. Delicious! great beer.
