English: We have brewed on this beer on a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

Pours pitch black with a toffee colored head that lingers for a while. Nose is boozy, with rum notes and a considerable amount of roasted malt. Flavor-wise there is a good malt backbone shining with a decent amount of sweetness covered by roasted malt that comes out ashy at times (which I despise usually, but this time I’m able to get over it). Alcohol is well hidden and the syrupy mouthfeel from the restrained carbonation makes the experience really enjoyable only in small quantities.

Krągła do tęgiej pełnia, umiarkowane do wysokiego wysycenie i wytrawny finisz z alkoholem rozgrzewającym przełyk. Niezłe, ale na dłuższą metę trochę męczące.

A nice, clear coca cola-colored beer with minimal brown foam. Sweet nose with fruity aromas of coconuts, chokolate, lingonberries and coffee. Sweet flavor with mild bitter flavors and a little bit of tannins on the finish. Low carbonation and surprisingly rich palate with minimal alcohol burn. Incredibly well made beer with well hidden alcohol but it does feel a bit one-dimensional.

Sztos

Coffee and Caramel Aroma and Taste; also has a treacle...smooth beer with no taste of the 10% alc; if there is it's very subtle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On bottle. Pours black. A really creamy beer, with a small scent of smoke. Lots of chocolate, and a bit alcoholic (the rum obviously). This is by far the best beer, Hornbeer has made.

Bottle. Pitch black beer with small beige head. Aroma of peat, roasted malts, molasses, coffee and some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, peat, coffee, roasty, notes of molasses, chocolate, rum. Burnt, roasted coffee finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Very good and complex imperial stout.

Rich body, powerfull, and full of taste. Great volumen. Coffee, slightly smoked and good spiced.

colui72 (1085) - HONG KONG - AUG 2, 2017
Pours oily black, small brown head that disappeared right after pouring. No lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and oak. Tastes grassy bitter, very complex with strong roasted barley, oak, rum, chocolate and coffee, alcohol is very well masked. Feels oily, full bodied and without carbonation, quite easy to drink but with a strong aged rum after taste. Good stout!
