COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle @ Parents. Appearance: pours slightly hazy dark brown with good tan soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, bread, caramel, wheat, light chocolate, earth and light sour berries. palette: medium malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, balanced by a light to medium bitterness and light acidity, average duration and an watery texture. Overall: decent dunkel weizen, but strange sour note

50 cl. bottle poured in to a Weizen glass. Dark brown colour with a huge, off-white head. Fruity aroma with caramel and wheat malts, sweet fruits, light coffee and chocolate. Less yeasts and banana notes than in the German originals. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with sweet fruits and toasted notes. A bit odd - still a nice beer.

Draught at Lord Nelson. Very dark beer with no significant head. This is a very drinkable dunkel!

Sampled @ Cardinal. Close to black body with a fine, dense beige head. Rather mild aroma of toasted malt, dry fruit and hint of banana. Flavor is quite sweet, dark malt, toast, wheat with hint of banana. Medium body and medium aftertaste. Quite nice, but nothing really extra and easy to forget.

The taste is wonderful roasted malt. Which I love. The scent is really good. The aftertaste is also heavenly and I’m just enjoying this beer. This is a beer for my taste. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
