Hazy dark amber with a thin white head. Caramel aroma with lots of hops and maybe some smoke. Massive bitter taste. Bit unbalanced and rough. Holmen2 (4510) - NORWAY - APR 18, 2018
From bottle on board Fridtjofen 18.04.18. Translucent orange amber. Persistent beige head and lacing. Moderate aroma of American hops, pine and sap. Excellently balanced and strong taste of marmalade, bitter citrus, resins, sap and malt. High bitterness, citrus and pine is lingering on. Full mouthfeel. Opaque amber color, off-white head. Bitter, hoppy flavor with caramel, alcohol and grapefruit. Medium-full body, light carbonation. Not bad.
(oct backlog, from ColorLine NO-DK Transit), - The Hornbeer labels remain silly, the beers consistently more than decent... Kort: well-composed, highly drinkable stealth marmelade IIPA boozer that manages to make the fresh citrus fruit hover on top of the marmelade caramalts. Earthy, flowery touches briefly hint at continental pedigree.Lime jelly, grapefruit jam sealed by a clean layer of pectin Chinoo/Simcoe resins make this an unctuous more-than-sipper.

Copenhagen 30/10 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Crude drawing of an Happy, Hoppy Viking with a Happy, Hoppy Viking Wife in the background. Pours hazy deep orange with yellowish head. Settles as thin foamy layer covering the surface of the beer nicely. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sweetish. Fermented exotic fruit, resin, pine and lighter citrus notes. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor has strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish semi-dry. A muscular Imperial IPA or Triple IPA which manages to hide it's substantial ABV quite well due to it's intense aroma and flavor. Good one. Casper0904 (687) - DENMARK - AUG 3, 2017
Great IIPA. Fresh and powerfull. Great hoppy finish, and the body hides the alcohol well. tderoeck (11172) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 26, 2017

Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet, malty, fruity touch, caramel, ripe tropical fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, resinous, malty, some pineapple, nice stuff. Aftertaste: dank, resinous, hoppy, very nice!
Reddish brown colour with thin head. Aroma is floral and hoppy. Flavour is less intense.
