yngwie (16989) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle. A dense, finger-thick off-white to light beige head forms over an unclear ruby to brown body. Rather malty aroma, nuts, caramel, some chocolate and some almost vegetable-like notes. Sweet, nutty flavor with caramel, chocolate and some faint notes of cooked vegetables. Full body, quite silky on the palate. Lasting finish. A quite nice one, although not as good as the best doppelbocks. 130222

SlackerMads (3349) - DENMARK - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle. Clear maroon with a small khaki head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is christmassy spicy - cloves, cardamom, cinnamon. Toasted malt, syrup, prunes, earthy. Taste is medium sweet, light+ bitter. Medium+ body, average carbonation, oily texture. Dry spicy finish. Im not a big fan of Christmas spices, but I can tolerate this. New normal, new standards.
