The aroma is very Belgian. A Blue Chimay is not far away here. The flavour is also very similar. Ripe plums, candy sugar and just enough sourness to hold the sweetness in check. The label says spices, but it does not specify. I feel cinnamon, nutmeg and sage, but I could be mistaken. Robust enough to cope with a Danish pork roast with red cabbage Rasmus40 (21697) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2011
Unclear brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel, heavy malty, spicy, yeasty, orange peel and a fruity hoppiness. Flavor is rather sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied. The finish is bitter and dry. Well balanced. 291010 rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2011

Medium brown and hazy. Has an off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is sweet caramel, faint laqurice. Flavor is heavy sweet, light bitter finish. Long duration. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2011
It’s unclear, red-brown with a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, yeast, candy sugar and anise. The flavour is sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, coriander, candy-sugar, hints of chocolate´and the finish is both lightly dry and slightly bitter – it’s a bit monotonous.

Hunters, Pori. Deep brownish amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel, wood, some spices and boiled liver. Flavour is raisins, boiled liver, some grass, yeast and earth.
Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet roasted aroma, hint of cough syrup. Cloudy, muddy red brown colour. Fruity flavour, quite spicy. Some cinnamon, hint of mild bread, very weak aniseed. A mixture of many different spices, I think. Late cherry sourness to balance. I wonder if there is fruit in there at all. yespr (47115) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2010
