Draught @ Kaisla, Helsinki. Originally rated on 21.5.2010. Okay fruit beer with notes of fruits, oak and vanilla. Cranberry notes come through a bit too much. Slightly unbalanced.

Benzai (15623) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2011
Kinda weird fruitbeer to me. Normally I like the color but not the smell and taste, but in this case I didn’t like the color but smell and taste were pretty decent. Nice carbo and fine body as well. Not bad at all.

3.3
Camons (12450) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2011

This beer is a bit sour but not as much as a gueuze. Nice on a hot summer day.

pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Hornbeer oak aged cranberry bastard. On tap at schouskjelleren... Pours a mostly murky deep toffee brown and topped with thin to medium off-white head... Aroma of tart, sour cranberry with a little oak and tart cherry and very light vinegar. Some pale malt in the background... Flavors are much ofthe same, sourness is a little dialed down but then a smokiness presents itself midway through. Medium, pretty full bodied with light to medium carbonation. Nice and different take on a sour/wild. 7/3/8/4/14

3.5
Borup (14550) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2011
Bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. hazy amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, fruit, and smoke.

3.3
ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2011
Bottle sample @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a hazy, near-murky nut brown body with a small beige head. Aroma is oak, cranberries, hints of pine and black berries. Taste has the wooden tones and cranberry thing going all right, along with hints of smoke, peat and herbs. While this might sound pretty awesome, it wasn’t. Weird stuff, and this beer doesn’t work too well in my mouth. Some extra points for originality though, and I can totally imagine someone taking a big liking to this.
