UPDATED: JAN 13, 2017 Bottle. Pours hazy amber with beige head. Aroma has malt with bread, caramel and is slightly fruity and sweet. Also some esters and hints of spices. Taste is sweet, malty with caramel, dark bread and notes of spice yet estery and fruity. Texture is medium carbonation with a dry yeasty finish. Not quite a bock hence the noticable esters and hazyness. Maybe not the best batch of this beer. back (2160) - Holstebro, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2016

Fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation, long finish. AndySnow (7783) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - JAN 16, 2016

Copenhagen 30/12 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsens Vinhandel. Fat Christmas goose with Christmas hat on the label. Kind of reminds me of drunkard Uncle Waldo from AristoCats. Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with white head. Settles as flimsy patches of foam. Aroma is licorice, anis, barley and a heavy caramel sweetness. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste is dominated by licorice and anise. Not particulary sweet. Medium bitterness in the aftertaste. More licorice than in many dedicated licorice beers. Personally I do not associate Christmas with licorice and anise - but quite a licorice brew anyway.

, Copenhagen - amber to brown pour with biege head. Aroma and taste is a mix of sweet malts and dark dried fuit, some toffee and caramel notes, medium hoppy, with some spices into the finish.
Bottle at Beer Hunters. Nutty brown color, small off-white head. Raisins and rye in the nose. Medium-bodied. Odd raisin soup flavor. Light grassy notes and even some alcohol. Spices. Meh. Bad bottle? Cepos (14) - DENMARK - NOV 13, 2015
Fresh and Christmas feel. A bit dry and also bitter in after a while. Foam dies too quickly
