Bottle. Black with a medium sized creamy brown head. Good lasting and lacing. Hoppy nose with citrus and herbal notes with some chocolate, vanilla and ash beneath it. The flavour is more dominated by malty notes; chocolate, vanilla, coffee, light oak, ash with some hops in the finish. Medium/full body, creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Grifo. Vaso Shaker @ Cervecería Freiburg. Color negro puro y espuma de oscuro bronceado. Corona cremosa y copiosa. Aromas intensos de infusión de café, chocolate, torrefactos y herbales. Entrada de maltas torrefactas y amargor subyacente, con trazos de ciruelas pasas y especias. Cuerpo pleno y carbonatación moderada. Textura densa. Sabores de cacao amargo, café y resinas permanecen hasta el seco final. Paladar y retrogusto reseco –sensación de pan negro. ABV bien enmascarado. Una buena elaboración !!

Roasted malt & underneath bitter upfront. Prune & spiced hues. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Dense texture. Bitter cocoa, coffee & resiny flavors in the middle linger into a dry finish. Dried – black bread like- mouthfeel & aftertaste. ABV well masked. Good job !!

Big dark brown head. Opaque black body. Deep roasty chocolatey minty aroma with alcoholic resiny lacquer and toffee notes. Dry-sweetish roasty smoky burnt taste with resiny rye notes. Full body. Pours black with medium brown head. Some lacing. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol. Taste is of roasted malt, lots of chocolate, resin, alcohol, sugar. Palate: Full bodied. Thanks to someone for sharing this at bu11zeye’s 10,000th tasting in April 2012. Black with a tan head. The aroma is full of roasted malt with some chocolate and oak notes. The flavor is chocolate, oak and roasted malt. There is also an unidentified flavor and aroma that I can’t quite put my finger on, but that doesn’t quite agree with me. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
