COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Hornbeer Vårøl bebuder forårets komme. Farven er gyldengul, der er masser af kulsyre der giver en dejlig friskhed og så er den let sød. Der er brugt gode mængder humle der sikrer tilpas bitterhed og en frugtagtig smag. Vårøl passer fint til frokostbordet, til ost eller dessert. Men Vårøl kan altså også sagtens drikkes uden mad.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper coloured with a dense and creamy off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus fruit and malt. A little dusty.. Malty flavour with notes of aromatic hops, caramel, bread and fruit. Pretty simple and a little borring.

100ml served from a bottle at Københavnske Øldage 09. Unclear, golden-yellow. Thin, bubbly head. Fair and smooth hoppy aroma. Soft to the palate with a mix of fresh fruits culminating with a nice bitter round off end. Likeable beer that has got the right spring touch to it (16.05.2009).

Bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2009. Hazy yellowish color, ok off-white head. Aroma has fine citric hops. Flavor is mild hoppy and malty with some fruity sweetness. Refreshing.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy dark amber color with long lasting head. Sweetish, perfumed, berryish and lemony aroma. Bittersweet flavor with fruity-lemony hops, firm bitterness, toffee, yeast, biscuity malt, caramel and elderberries. Crisp, bitter, fruity and yeasty finish. Full bodied with high carbonation.

Bottled. Pours clear, dark amber with a big off-white head. Good lacings. Hoppy, flowerish nose with fruit and malt. Flavour of hops, malt, fruit and grain. Medium bodied. Crisp and bitter finish. Well balanced and very nice. Enjoy.
