COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Horny Goat Wheat is a Belgian-Style white beer, craft brewed with wheat, malted barley, hops and a bit of orange peel and coriander. Its natural haze from yeast and wheat make it a classic to be enjoyed on its own, or with a slice of orange. Horny Goat Wheat loves big cans... those little 12 ounce bottles arent enough beer, and cans fully protect the beer from light and oxygen, producing a new level of fresh that you wont find out of a bottle. Cans are also easier to recycle and better for the environment... as an ecologist if you dont believe the brainiacs at Horny Goat.

Can from Mellow Mushroom (Chattanooga). Poured hazy yellow color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet grainy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable but only worth having once.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth lemony banana with light cloves. In mouth, a rather chalky example of a wit with some light acidic points, banana malt, a bit short. On tap at the Istmus Beer and Cheese, Jan 21 2012.

16 ounce can from the Libation Station in Johnson City, TN. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large head. Fizzy with poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of bread, green apple, apricot and other fruits. Taste is bread, citrus, green apple. Thin bodied. Hardly any spice or yeasty notes that make a good wit but not offensive either.

Water + American Wheat Beer = really really bad combo. They seem to have mixed the two.

Taco Mac strikes again! Cloudy yellowish/gold color. Typical aroma of wheat and orangewith some light spice. Flavor is boring and really not that good. Seems hard to fuck up a wheat, but so many breweries do.

Can picked up in Tennessee from old notes. Pours a hazy light golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus, wheat malts, bread, orange peel and spices are very mild, just not much to get excited about.

Courtesy of Degarth. Can pours gold with light haze and bright white firm head. The aroma is a bit fresh and peppy to start with lemon zest, wheat, some honey sweetness and then alcohol from possibly too hot of a fermentation. The taste starts lemony fresh and that freshness gets crushed by wheat, honey and then chemical fusels that take the experience into a region we dont really want to go.
