COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The malt bill of this brew is comprised of seven different malts for a very complex base. We add brown sugar to the boil which will increase the alcohol content and give the beer a molasses flavor. Cinnamon is then added to the whirlpool to finish. Finally, the beer is aged on Tahitian vanilla beans and Ecuadorian cacao nibs for a true brownie flavor.

Bottle. Pours dark brown off white head. Nose and taste of brown sugar, cinnamon, toasted chocolate, vanilla extract and old fudge. Watery light body. More of a brown ale than a porter.

16 oz. can from JStax - thanks, Jeremy. Pours a dark coffee brown with a small fizzy tan head that settles into a ring. Notes of old coffee, rusted metal, dirt, leaves, stale brownies, faint cinnamon spice, and spoiled bananas. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a smooth,

Dark dark clear brown with a fast fading light khaki head. Nice chocolaty and earthy nose but a bit faint and one-dimentional. Medium palate with some cocoa, light cola notes, a little earthy bitterness (just enough to balance), and a light biscuity body. Drinkable, but meh.

Chattanooga, Tn - Riverside Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium copper - looks like iced teas - with a light off white head. Aroma has some nutmeg and cinnamon notes, a hint of wort. Flavor is more akin to a brown ale than a porter. Light hints of molasses, some raisins, just a hint of chocolate and a back end of cinnamon and nutmeg. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not sure where this one is heading.

Bottled. Poured clear, medium reddish-amber with no head sticking around. The aroma picked up sweet vanilla, maple, and cocoa.. some astringency and detergent evident. The flavor found the same sweet malts with cinnamon and lightly bitter nutmeg around.. vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin-kissed cocoa on the finish. Lighter-bodied and fairly sharp through the palate.. it became cloying and non-enjoyable after the first couple sips.

16 oz. can. Brown (almost Amber) in color with weak tan head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, cocoa powder, dark fruit.

Flavor comes off almost artificial. Candy like. also shows a week metallic hint. Very light in body, (nearly watery). Not a very convincing performance on this beer. I will pass on this one.
