COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The malt bill of this brew is comprised of seven different malts for a very complex base. We add brown sugar to the boil which will increase the alcohol content and give the beer a molasses flavor. Cinnamon is then added to the whirlpool to finish. Finally, the beer is aged on Tahitian vanilla beans and Ecuadorian cacao nibs for a true brownie flavor.

Porter on a 90 degree day??? Spotted this in the store today and since I had never tried it figured why not. Dark brew with really nice tan head. Smells like brown sugar and bread. Taste is chocolate with a hint of vanilla. The name is spot on because this does taste alot like a chocolate brownie. Excellent brew at a reasonable price. Hope to find it in the store come October and when it is around 70 or less outside.

Horny Goat Brownie has a medium, cream-colored head, a dark, ruby-brown appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of dark, rich, bread crust, molasses, brown sugar, vanilla, and chocolate. Taste is of those elements, with some pleasant yeast sourness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Horny Goat Brownie finishes on the sweet and wet side, with high drinkability. RJT

12oz bottle, I was surprised by the pour, not as dark as a porter. Aroma of cocca malts, smooth tasting beer. Not a big bite like some porter may have, but very enjoyable.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark brown with a ruby hue. Aroma of chocolate with a hint of cinnamon. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Dark chocolate with a hint of coffee and cinnamon. Insert where they get the "brownie" from. It’s almost like a brownie made with bittersweet chocolate. Pretty good.

Brown with reddish hues and a thin foamy beige head; aroma is mild malt and slight hint of chocolate; flava is malt and moderately chocolaty; feels medium and somewhat creamy with foamy fizz ; finishes slightly sweet malty mild chocolate

Pint can into a snifter. Pours a dark brown with a one finger light tan head. Leaves a bit of lacing that tends to slide back into the beer pretty quickly. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee, toasted malts, and brown sugar. Taste is slightly bitter chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toasted malts, molasses, and a bit of coffee. Body is medium, but the texture is thin and watery coupled with a slightly high carbonation. Finish is a little dry, but fairly long with malty brown sugar, mollasses and chocolate. Doesn’t taste like a brownie so much, but it is really good and has been growing on me with each sip. Tastewise it is a standout among porters, as I can’t remember a porter with quite this much taste. The only real downfall is the thin texture. Otherwise, great beer.

Can. Deep dark chocolate brown. Small head. Aroma was roasted grains with just a hint of chocolate. Taste was much more chocolate, roasted grains, and vanilla.
