Bottle. Looks like normal weizen. The bottle was unfortunately close to expiration date. Average weizen, peated smokiness was very little, nothing like Rittmayer. Would love to try fresh.

0,5l Flasche.

bottle at home courtesy of mctaps, cheers sabine!
murky dark amber with a trace of beige head. lightly smokey vanillins and toffee on nose. full body and carbonation, sweet banana esters with spicey clove in behind and a gentle caress of peat, quite sharp esters, moderate meaty smoke...more rauchweisse than whiskyweisse

Flasche, 0.5l. Leichter Duft nach Schinken. Auch im Geschmack eher Schinken, als Whiskey. Aber nur sehr wenig. Kein typische Weißbier-Hefe im Geschmack.

JulioRangel (81) - Salvador, BRAZIL - OCT 4, 2015

Countbeer (6237) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 14, 2015
Bottle (50cl): Served in a glass Stein: Medium sized lively creamy head. Hazy to murky orange brown colored beer. Aromas of yeast, light fruity, some peat, light smoke, wheat, banana, peach skin, some sweet grains... Flavours of light fruity tones like banana, malts, sweet peat, some wheat, bitters, sweet herbs, yeast, light caramel, hay, toast, soap... The aftertaste is a mix of bitters, peat, soap, malts... Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, a bit more than medium bodied.
