BlackHaddock (7961) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2014
Half-litre flip-top bottle from Beers of Europe: BBD 30 Jan 15. Poured into my old Wolnzacher Brauhaus tall glass tankard on 10 Nov 14. Very pale golden body, clear, clean and bright: on top a full white head that soon fell away to a wisp and collar. Almost odourless, hints of grain and herbal notes if you sniff hard enough. The taste is semi-sweet grains, again herbal notes, but with a hop bitterness just below the surface. Refreshing and crisp feel to the brew, carbonation bubbles rising throughout the tasting. Decent, pity about the head and lack of nose.

500ml bottle served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a clear pale yellow color forming a medium and bubbled white head. Low retention but a thin layer is quite persistent in the surface and some nice lacings are formed and left S: Classic German Lager in the nose, very grainy, sweet malts mainly. Also very bready. Flowery hops in the end T: Follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of sweet grains and bready Lager yeast. End is made of mild and bit citrus hops bitterness M: Light body. Medium carbonation. Bready and grainy aftertaste O: Good drinkability. A good German Lager which might be a pleonasm :) [ BA Review @ 11/4/2012 ]

"Pfffft". Modest head. Clear light golden body. Aroma; caramel malts, bread, cinnamon bun, yellow apple, meadow. Taste; caramel malts, that apple, bread, hops, berry peel. Somewhat dry, and nice body. Finish with hops, grass, bread, caramel malts, apple peel. Alright brew. [50 cl. br. swingtop- btl. 5.2%abv.°. BB10.14]

Leicht Malznoten im Antrunk, dann leichtes Hopfenaroma, Abgang etwas wässerig. Fazit: Schmeckt ganz gut, kann man trinken!

Bottle at home. Very light with creamy white head. Not much in the aroma and a light malty, peach fruitiness coming through in the flavour. A very smooth and satisfying beer.

Bosbouw (3038) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - APR 21, 2014
Heldere pisgele kleur met een aardige kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop en iets bitterzoet. Smaakt beetje flauw, iets bitterzoet.
