A decent brew. Bit hard to classify, but whatever, amber, focus on malty sweet notes. Enjoyable.

ALLOVATE (3048) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 23, 2017
Into a Landbier glass at just on cool. Mahogany hued copper body and bright as bright. Highly effervescent raising up to a plume of tight off-white foam that lifts a good inch out the glass. Grainy, cereal-like and musty malt nose with hints of roasted peanuts, almond meal, and umami in the form of sautéed mushrooms and tomato paste. On the palate it has an initial, rich sweetness of juicy, toasted and crystal malts. Creamy and soft helped by that continual pillow of foam. Quite light in body but well rounded with plenty of nuances to keep it interesting. Roasted nuts, wood and the umami of the nose mixes with peppery and earthy hops and a little rusty tannins. Dusty and musty length just a continuation of the palate. I virtually skolled this back it went down with such ease. Meaty and chunky, cereal-like malts with a mild mineral liquor edge. Delicate hopping gives it wonderful harmony and balance. Delicious. A wonderful Landbier. Just wish I had a few more bottles on hand!!! (50cL, BB 20/04/18, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
