Bottled (from K Citymarket Lielahti, Tampere). Golden colour with a big foamy slightly off-white head that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is wheat, mild caramel, some slight bitterness, spices, herbs and yeast. Flavour is yeast, sweet citrus and wheat along with mild herbal notes. Refresing and bodied. Rather pleasant wheat and fruity aftertaste with also some sweet maltyness kicking in. Pleasant for being 4.7 %.

TBone (17994) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 19, 2012
Bottled flip-top 500ml (Prisma Mikkola, BB 03/2013)
Hazy yellow color, big cloudy white head, lace. Aroma has bubblegum and rubber boots. Light-bodied. Mainly bubblegum flavor with some banana estery notes. Dryish and watery. 4.7% is not enough here.

FatPhil (16896) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 18, 2012
500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pretty nice hefeweissen aroma, not jumping out of the glass, but full of the wheatiness. A touch watery in the mouth, but not too feeble. Finish is pleasantly wheaty. Whilst clearly a hefeweizen, this suffers from being 4.7%. I even think 2.7 is an overrate. Fortunately there’s no nastiness at all, no sourness, but no guts either.

Rune (13355) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2013
500ml swing-top bottle as Adlerkönig Das Echte Weissbier, 4.7% abv. Shared by djoeye. A wheat haze to a golden coloured body. Mostly lasting white head, lacing rings to the glass. Spiced fruity nose. The taste character brings late banana and a dash of mid-tart lemon, alongside wheat and coriander sweetness. Mild and sweet fruity ending. Basic German weizen (Tromsø 10.11.2013).

rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 5, 2013
500 ml bottle. JO61. BB 01/03/13. (Prisma) Helsinki, Finland. Labels upside down. Hazy darkish golden colour with small to average sized frothy white head. Yeasty aroma with caramel sweetness. Flavour is surprisingly tart. Thin. Unbalanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl bottle.
Pours hazy golden color with a huge, frothy white head. Aroma of hay, mild wheat, some apricot and banana notes and yeast. Some mild bread notes are there too. Flavor of ripe fruits, wheat, yeast, mild toffee and some goose berries. Medium carbonation, mild sourish palate with a fruity finish. Nothing special here.

A loud POP when opening the bottle. Lots of foaming when pouring. Aroma is typical to hefe of this ABV with some banana esthers, wheat and hints of tart apple and bubblegum. Flavour is rather light with some banana esthers, bubblegum and hints of tart apple and cardboard. Yeast and wheat in the finish. Easy‐going and a bit thin wheat with no savors.

Hermod (8213) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 17, 2012
50cl bottle from Prisma, Vantaa. Poured hazy orange with a frothy white head. Aroma had wheat, yeast and banana. Flavor was more citrusy fruity, with wheat and some light spiciness towards finish. Light bodied, otherwise OK hefeweizen.

Marduk (8206) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 19, 2012
0,5l bottle shared with FatPhil and Anna. Hazy yellow color. Small white head. It sure smells like Hefeweizen, but flavor is too watery.

Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2014
Flaske 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Drukket som matøl på RV124 1 Feb 14. Aprikosfarget. Litt uklar. Middels høyt skum som nesten blir helt borte. Litt lacing. God sitrusaroma med innslag av krydder. Smaken er sitrus med undertone av gjær. Et hveteøl på det jevne. Blir ikke for søt! Mye sedimenter igjen på flaska. KI=1
