On cask at Volo - not sure which batch. Cloudy amber with an almost clear head. Mild tropical hops, smooth, easy to drink, mild carbonation, some apple, slightly bitter and becomes a bit astringent on the finish before balancing out with a nice dry and tasty ending. Tap, pours golden, aroma is hoppy, the flavour malty hoppy bittermess, overal pretty refreshing. AGAquino (704) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 23, 2012
From notes, at Bar Volo. Pours a cloudy orange amber with a nice long lasting foamy head. Aroma is floral with nice malts to balance. Flavours are weighted toward the hoppy side with malts and alcohol coming through in the aftertaste. Oakes (19549) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
Hazy amber-straw. Thin head. Big weedy aroma. Delicious, really rich hops, very dry with hardly any superfluous malts. Very refreshing, and I love the lingering bitterness. Fun beer. solidfunk (9789) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 14, 2012
This smells properly fruity. A grea breath of fresh beer after the molson 67 I was forced to drink for a milestone. Theres a seriously bitter grapefruit aftertaste here. Fruity aroma may even be like strawberries. Alright tracing from this casker. Bitterness may be a touch too much in the grapefruit field for my liking though. Much more bitter than I was expecting from an apa. Cask at volo.

Pint at Volo. Hazy orange with a medium, sticky, white head. Aroma is clementines or tangerines at first but then the pine takes over. The flavour is more simple, with light citrus and lots of bitterness. The bitterness is almost harsh, for the style. It really covers your mouth and stays with you. Not a bad beer, but there are better local APAs. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 27, 2012
Draft at volo. Glowing hazy goldenrod. Scattered lacing. Aroma is earthy, mushrooms. Remains down to earth and nutty, shroomy. English character. Light carbo and great palate. Well done.

April 15, 2011 - cask pint at Volo. Very cloudy, borderline murky orange-tinged yellow with a solid lasting average frothy off-white head. Aroma is pungently floral, has that sharp acidic sort of "sorachi" character, no your standard resin or citrus - almost buttery - quite malty, seems a bit green (7-). Taste is VERY pungent - that’s not butter, it’s the pungent bitterness working with the graininess to coat the back of the palate - quite green and pervasive - and you notice the alcohol. Solid, nearly chewy body, hardly any carbonation, with increasing, lingering bitterness and astringency .... good, but perhaps a not as balanced as we would want. Definitely a recipe to continue tweaking. Sammy (13106) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 12, 2012
Batch 5 on tap at Volo. Pleasant finish to a series of beers. Good citrus flavour. Hits the spot as a pale, its certainly not an ESB. kschep (1707) - DENMARK - JAN 11, 2012
#1191 draught (#2; galaxy/columbus); nose is soap, chloride, leaves, heavy cooked vegetables, feel is watery, carb is low, taste is decent cooked vegetables, heavy sweet lemon, weak pine, bile, late yeast note
