From notes, on cask at Bar Volo. Pours a cloudy amber orange with a nice foamy off-white head. Aromatic hop bitter with some citrus fruits. Flavours of a nicely balanced bitter, quite flavourful and balanced.

Nice littleb bite of bitter. I spent the whole weekend drinking free coors light and thisgoes dowwn amazingly after that ordeal. Great lacing, though head dies down no thing quickly. Smells hoppy, almost like an apa. With a touch of rich orange citrus. On tap at volo.

June 24, 2011 - House Ales Launch event at Volo: gravity cask. Murky deep orange with a solid single finger creamy pancake batter mottled off-white head. Subtle aroma - pungent floral bitterness and sweet tangerine zest ... really solid fresh bitter, no booze, light grain. Taste is even better - and DAMNED good, one of the best bitters I have had in North America - follows the aroma, with some dry wheaty character (like baking flour) and plenty of sharp zestiness to off-set the lush floral character. Chewy body, mild carbonation, it’s quite bitter, but it’s a high, top-of-palate focused bitterness that doesn’t overwhelm - this is really, really good stuff another one to "please make again, Ralph!"

[3777-20110624] Cask. Waffle cardboard aroma has a hint of olive oil. Hazy, dark orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Sweaty male gym socks flavour, freshly peeled, but could also be a ringer for fresh watery citrusade. Medium body. Such an odd combination of flavours as it warms! Would like to try again. Cask at House Ales Launch Party, Volo. Last beer of the night, my eleventh, and one of the best. Pours a cloudy orange-copper with a small fizzy off-white head. Aroma is awesome, just lots of resiny and citrusy hops Flavour is also mainly resiny & citrusy hops and it’s delicious with a nice bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Wow, a beer this flavourful and tasty and it’s only 3.6%? Amazing. I loved it!

At volo, pour is fairly dark, taste is quite impressive, I really liked this one, it was one of the best bitters I have had, it wasnt terribly better tho, but that doesnt bother me cuz the taste was great. It was bitter but yet it was smooth and very fruity tasting, I found lots of hop notes. Recommend this one

A great cask, and an American bitter, with Simcoe,Cascade and Amarillo hops. Lacey on a light brown body. Mild hop aromas. Served at near room temperature. Great bitter flavour, very drinkable. Nice mouthfeel for a cask. Well crafted, Ralph!

Pale golden pour. The aroma is loaded woth nice fresh citrusy hops. Tight white head. The nose is quite light and fresh. Fresh orange peel and marmalade witth a great light palate. Lean but not thin with a great assertive bitterness. Nice freshness and a really lovely balance. Nice sessionable brew.

2011-06-24. Amber orange body with a lovely creamy beige head and lace. 4+ Pleasant bitterness and a nice hop character. Modest citrus hops, bit of greenery, interesting malt base, caramel malts, light grainy astringency to the malt (as a result of the Parti-Gyle method perhaps?) is mostly covered by the hopping. 6+ Aroma is pleasant, sweet yeasty overtones, sweet orange citrus hops, mild malt. Smooth average bodied palate. Lingering pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Struck the right chord for me today, quite enjoyed it. House Ales Launch Party, Volo, Toronto

Aroma fresh ,aromatic , plenty of citric hops. Soft malt as base. Refreshing and clean.
Appearance hazed amber with medium lighter top, sparse fragmental lace. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Bold , leafy , bitter twig like, slight citrus with fresh green grass, slight harshness at finish. Very refreshing lighter bitter sided ale.
