October 25, 2011 - on cask at Volo, pre- Cask Days 2011. Slightly hazy ruby-amber with a good-sized frothy off-white head. Aroma is interesting - wort, some maple sweetness and quite floral ... perhaps not fully meshed yet (7-). Taste follows, grassy with more alcohol than 4.3% - perhaps a tad thin. Watery, weakly carbonated, oddly syrupy .... not a huuuge fan, maybe a little green? Radek Kliber (7483) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - DEC 2, 2011

Aroma initial soft blend of yeast, hops and malts. Gentle in its nature. Fruit with note of citrus follows. 7+
Appearance hazed amber with touch of copper red. Medium plus , dense creamy to. Presentable.
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Soft yeasty walls with nutty hop character. Gentle mineral notes in the mid. British dark mild bend to it. Finish of mellow green bitterness with hint of black tea.
Cask at Volo. Pours a slightly cloudy orange-amber with a small diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma: Hmmm, not sure what I think of that, it’s mild and buttery along with fruit, lightly toasted malt and light earthy hops -- I can definitely see the "U.K. style" Bitter influence here. Flavour follows the aroma along with a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. It’s not great but it’s a fine beer, I enjoyed it enough. mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 9, 2011
[4038-20111024] Cask. Mild greeny citrus peel aroma. Hazy, brown amber body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter green malt flavour has some citrus undertones. Medium body. Good, would like to try again. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

A hazed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet berries with light woody notes, nutty sweetness, a bit cloying. In mouth, a smooth earthy peaty malt woth nice and light buttery notes, not bad. On tap at Volo, Oct. 29 2011.

On cask at Volo. Appearance: Golden brown, thick white head. Aroma: sour, quite vinaigrette like but in a positive sense. Flavour: very mild, creamy, a little bitter, grassy, long tangy finish. Quite pleasant.

2011-10-24. Very lightly hazy dark amber body, small off-white head. 3+ Flavour is pleasant, interest malt profil has an English feel to it, mdoest bitterness throughout. Light green leafy character to the hops, hints of caramel and toasty malt, very light herbal touch to the hops. 6+ Mild aroma, lightly fruity, mild green herbaceous hops. 6+ Smooth average plus bodied palate feels thinner due to the light carbonation. Decent bitter. Cask at Volo, Toronto Sammy (12768) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 26, 2011
Bar Volo cask. Smells like laundry detergent, wild stout. Not too bitter. Marginally passable. JoeMcPhee (9553) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 26, 2011
Deep amber pour with a little bit of light fruit. There’s a touch of fresh toasted malt along with a touch of earthy hop aroma as well. A lovely fresh fruity estery aroma. There is also a little bit of fresh fruity hoppiness and a little bit of light toast. Some berryish character as well. Also pretty lovely. A touch of soft sweetness.
