Cask in the amber rose. Pours pale amber, nose is fruity, toffee, taste is sweet, floral, light toffee. tombyars (1790) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JAN 23, 2012
Tasted this in Gabriels, Paisley in November 2000. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Slight floral note to the short hopped aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a digestive biscuit flavour with a hint of golden syrup and grapefruit peel. Dusty hop resins give an astringent dry hoppy aftertaste which builds in intensity. Finish is citrusy and dry with moisture sucking pithy notes, long in intensity. A popular bitter from the extensive portfolio. yespr (48931) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2010
From cask at Counting House. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is malty and slight breadish. Dark roasted malt, bitter and medium dry breadish roasted. Bitter and mild fruity into a malty finish. Simple and elegant. Bullit (4825) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 27, 2010

a ruby coloured ale, thats was fruity with a balanced bitter hop fruity finnish. an ok ale.
On gravity at Swindon BF 30/10/08. Deep amber with next to no head. Aroma of red fruit, floral hops and a touch of roastiness. Flavour was sweetish, with more fruit and citrus hops, before a long, dry finish. Good. evilsoc (191) - WALES - OCT 31, 2008

Cask @ Castle Tavern, Inverness 1/8/08. Good darkish golden body. Nice lacing. Roasty tasting. Not a bad brew. gary07734 (500) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2008
A nice dark blonde pint, good bitter flavour and nice hoppy taste. Is this an american brew? If so it’s a good version of an english pint. If it’s a scottish brew then that’s cheating! Either way very drinkable.
