Clear orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, pineapple, caramel, sweet, candied orange peel. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet malty start, some caramel, sugary, pretty bitter, hay, some citrus. Aftertaste: little spicy, caramel, hoppy touch, malty, some citrus, bit of ripe banana, alcohol noticeable.
This is the beer from my hometown Lede. Pours dark amber colour with three finger soapy head. Aroma is hoppy, yeast forward, Taste is the same, with a subtle sweet malt backbone. Medium body, light carbonation. Aftertaste is bitter and biscuity. JorisPPattyn (10062) - BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2011
Very good, dense, yellowish head over lively carbonated, slightly veiled orange-amber beer. Pale malts and vegetable-smelling hops. Sharpish malts flavour, toasted, with a drier, hoppier finish. Bitterish rootspices. LIghtly burning MF, very slick & creamy texture. Quite dry, seems well-attenuated. But - 13 to the dozen... Many thanks to Geroen!
